We all love this time of year on the farm. Yes, it comes with more challenges, but as we all know hard work pays off in the end. During calving season we move the herd closer to the house, so to make the morning and evening checks easier. We like to calve at this time, because we are feeding
the herd anyway, so it's like killing two birds with one stone. We fed the herd the hay we harvasted during the summer, red and green clover, tall fescue and pasture grass.
